Southern Los Padres

Welcome to the Southern Los Padres National Forest.

I want to increase the number of active users of the southern section of the Los Padres National Forest.

My first project toward this end is to create an interactive map for accurately reporting trail conditions (downed trees, slides, erosion, rock falls, and overgrowth) using GPS enabled images and GPX files. Knowing that a downed tree exists isn't as helpful as knowing precisely where it is and what tools are needed to clear the trail.
